Bring Claude Code into your Rooms meeting

Connect Claude Code to a Rooms call so your team can ask questions and review its explanations and boards together.

Use the agent you are already working with

Rooms offers a Claude Code invitation path for bringing an outside agent into a browser meeting. Claude Code continues to run in its own environment. The connection gives it meeting tools and context; any repository or filesystem work remains subject to the access and approvals in that environment.

Connect and check

Sign in to Rooms, enter the meeting, and open the teammate invitation controls. Choose Claude Code and use the generated paste link or MCP setup instructions. Follow any connection steps in your Claude Code client, then confirm its presence in the meeting. Ask for a short reply about the current topic before relying on it during the discussion.

An engineering review example

Before the call, open the relevant project in your own agent environment. During the meeting, ask: ‘Explain how this request moves through the system. Distinguish code you inspected from assumptions, and show the team a board.’ Follow up with a bounded change or investigation only when you are ready to authorize that work. A board can help everyone challenge the explanation before implementation begins.

Keep access explicit

Other participants do not gain your repository access simply because your agent joined. Equally, anything your agent shares with the room should be appropriate for the people present. Verify the intended audience and client permissions. Rooms is not an official Anthropic product, and the connection does not imply a partnership or endorsement.
